At Butler County Public Water Supply Dist 2, we’re providing safe drinking water to the Qulin area outside of city limits. We serve Qulin, Broseley, Elk, Oglesville, Ash Hill, Fagus and some Fisk.
We believe every one should have access to clean drinking water.

A Bit of Background
Butler County Public Water Supply Dist 2, has been in operation since 1968, providing safe drinking water to our customers.
We have extended our operation twice now serving Qulin, Oglesville, Fagus, Elk, and some of the Broseley area.

There will be a small fee of $1.30 for up to $50.00 payment. We do not set the fees, the card company does. If you agree to this, contact the office first to get set up. You will have a user name and password that the water office will assign to you.
COME WORK WITH US
We are now accepting applications to fill his position as Water Operator/Maintenance. Various duties include, but not limited to, reading meters, locate water lines, lock and unlock meters, repair water lines, operate excavator, public relations, and maintain a budget.

We have an app for that!
You can now check your water usage any time.
Eyeonwater app will allow you to keep an eye on your water. Down load the app and enter your account number, zip code and email it will notify you of any leaks.
Can't pay your bill on the app but you can check for usage.
NEW REQUIREMENT
SHUT-OFF VALVES
We are installing cellular meters, these meters have radios in the top of the Water Meter Box. You can no longer access the box, meters or shut-off valve.
All our water customers are required to install a Shut-off Valve between the meter and the house.
There are valuable wires installed in the box and will be very costly if you damage anything. Call us if you need water turned off Brandon will come out.
We have the valves available at the office if you can't find them.
We will also install them for fee. Call the office for information.
RATE INCREASE
As of September 1, 2021 the rates have increased as follows
Minimum 0-1000 gallons 20.54
1001 gal to 5000 gallons 4.00 per 1000 gallons
5001 and up 3.00 per 1000 gallons
Primacy fees .40 per month
Utility tax 1%
Service charge monthly $1.00
Total minimum bill $22.15
Service Fee 25.00
Late Fee 15.00
Will be charged after the 22nd of every month. No exceptions! Make sure you get your payment in by 15th.
Disconnection will be on the last day of every month and a charge of 25.00 will be added to bill if water is disconnected.
Reconnection fee $25.00
Meter box replacement 75.00
Box lid replacement 40.00
Tampering Charge $200.00
Rental Deposit 125.00
Owner Deposit 75.00
Install shut off valve $125.00
New meter installation will depend on the size and location of the meter and price of supplies at time of installation.
